Fallon
The City of Fallon is a beautiful place to work, live, raise a family and experience the Nevada high desert. Located in western Nevada, the landscape consists primarily of farmland (where our renowned cantaloupes grow) and high desert flats interrupted by dramatic mountain ranges.
The Naval Air Station Fallon is the United States Navy’s premier air-to-air and air-to-ground training facility.
There are plenty of business and employment opportunities to pursue, bolstered by the City’s growing base of local businesses, technology companies, and agriculture.
Fallon is home to several Global companies including Lockheed Martin, Aecom, DynCorp and Boeing.
Newer commercial Developments in Fallon include Churchill Hazen Industrial Park (CHIP) and the Western Nevada Commerce Center. The master plan features development land for build-to-suit opportunities and outside storage/yard space, 24/7 rail transloading, and an existing switch with rail infrastructure. Also in place are necessary utilities and favorable zoning.
This particular site has the rare distinction of being dual served by two Class 1 freight railroads: Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) and BNSF Railway (BNSF). Because Reno-Sparks and the Sierra Region are both bisected by key rail and interstate highways, it has a federal port of entry designation. Churchill Commerce Center is a planned 150 acre business park. This site will have truck access to US 95 which connects north to I-80 and south to US 50. US 95 connects Boise to the north and Las Vegas to the south.
