Reno
With a population of over 300,000, Reno is the largest city in Northern Nevada. It is located in the southern part of Washoe County, nestled on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in an area called the Truckee Meadows.
Reno and the surrounding area provide unlimited indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Reno has excellent weather! Spectacular Lake Tahoe and the largest concentration of ski facilities in the world are all within a fifty-mile radius. Biking, camping, hunting, fishing and mountain climbing are all activities Reno residents and visitors enjoy.
Reno is changing and we embrace an incredible work, live, and play culture. Our region is diversifying, attracting great companies and young professionals, providing more opportunities, and all of this, and so much more, is making Reno not only the Biggest Little City, but a great city. As part of this, we are placing a significant amount of effort into making our downtown cleaner, safer, and more vibrant because we all know that every great city: has a great downtown!
The Neon Line District is a private developer infill redevelopment effort located in Downtown Reno. The District is anticipated to be a dynamic, mixed-use entertainment district that proposes to include the construction of 2,000-3,000 residential units, the expansion, renovation, and rebranding of the Sands Regency Casino Hotel, world class artwork from both local and international artists, and an array of other commercial, retail, plaza, green space, convention and entertainment venues.
Now with a Triple-A Baseball Stadium, Reno Public Market, Reno Experience District and a vibrant downtown community, Reno is marching at full speed and getting noticed for their expanding place as the top Data and Logistics Hub in the Western states.
